When it comes to stanced vehicles, we’re used to seeing loads of Japanese and German cars (especially BMWs). Creating one that looks good is no piece of pie, and applying a similar treatment to a musclecar is a lot harder.
We’ve seen tons of horrendous Mustangs and Camaros done this way, but the pony you’re about to see below is so wonderfully crafted that we just couldn’t ignore it. The owner of this Mustang, Omar Hashmi, says he wanted to build a stanced car that’s also suitable for the road and capable of running 10-second quarter mile drags.

The get the musclecar where he wanted, he used a custom bag-over-coil system pairing the shocks/struts with UAS Sport Runner bags, an AccuAir system, BMR supplied boxed-LCAs, a set of 19-inch VIP Modular VRC13 wheels, and many more.

The engine was tweaked to deliver 755 HP at the rear wheels and features Comp Stage 3 cams, several Boss 302 components and a Nitrous Express 200-shot just to name a few, and enables the Mustang to complete a quarter mile in 10.16 seconds at 138 miles per hour (222 km/h). We think Omar completed his mission and has an awesome machine in his garage. How about you?
