SSC Ultimate Aero, World's Fastest Production Car, For Sale!

The world's fastest production car in the history of the world can be yours... if you're ready to pay at least one million dollars for it... To be more specific, the SSC Ultimate Aero, the model which is now holding the World's Fastest Production Car record since 2007 is auctioned online on the popular bidding website eBay. Anyone who's interested in buying the car can enter the auction for a minimum fee of $100,000, with the highest bid currently standing at $575,100.

The car is powered by a 6.4-liter V8 twin turbo engine that produces an astonishing power of 1183 bhp (882 kW) and 1,094 lb-ft of torque. The mid-mounted engine helped the car reach 100 km/h in 2.78 seconds and a quarter mile in 9.9 seconds at 144 mph. The top speed was 257.41 mph (414.31) km/h, the official website states.

The interior is luxurious to say the least, with 10-speaker DVD music system, 7.5-inch LCD screen, satellite navigation system and rear-view camera among the highlights.

The highest bidder who'll purchase the record-holding super car will also receive a SSC World Record Commemorative watch, a custom record braking key fob, original wheels and tires which were removed after breaking the record and a framed official Guinness World Records certificate with commemorative photo signed by Shelby SuperCars team.

"Preserved and maintained in SSC's facility in Richland, WA, Ultimate Aero Chassis #TT-02 is a rare and irreplaceable automotive milestone. Certified the actual car used to capture the world record, it is quite literally the World's Fastest Production Car. As one of just 26 cars in the history of the automobile to hold this coveted title, it is sure to remain valuable and sought-after by future generations," the official website of the auction reads.
