The upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show will see an explosion of concept being brought to the public and we are here now to talk about such a development. This time, the company behind the project is the South Korean automaker SsangYong, which will introduce the XUV-1 concept.
The vehicle, which was previously known as the XUV-1, is a car with B-segment dimensions and is aimed at creating a strong connection between the car and its occupants.
“The XIV-1 concept is a showcase for SsangYong’s design and engineering talents. The name is derived from the phrase ‘exciting user Interface Vehicle’, and highlights the show car’s focus on interaction with the driver and passengers,” a company statement reads.
SsangYong has been making sustained efforts to bring its game to a new level, so we are very curious to see the new development. However, this won’t be the only goodies that the automotive producer will bring to the event.
The company will also use the auto show to introduce the production version of the SUT-1, which was seen in a concept for at last year’s Geneva Auto Show.
The carmaker claims that this is a pickup that combines practicality with a modern design and can be considered as a perfect representation of the brand, adding that it can be used both as a workhorse and for leisure activities.
