Revealed back in 2004, the SsangYong Rodius is one of the ugliest MPVs (vans) ever made if you don't count what the Chinese are doing. The current model looks like they slapped the face of parrot onto the body of a pig. It's beyond help.
What's more, the Rodius like to pretend to be something it's clearly not. Its name is a combination of the world 'road' and 'zeus', though it's clearly no god of the road. Additionally, some versions sold in Asia supposedly seat 11 people. Where, on the roof?

Ranting aside, the Korean people vehicle is getting a complete makeover. These two sketches have been released, showing a new designed that's been penned by Ken Greenley, former head of automotive design at the Royal College of Art in London.

The new Rodius will likely debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. It will reportedly be offered with the same 2.0-liter as the Korando or a big 3.2-liter petrol V6.

We think this new SsangYong looks suspiciously like a Kia, though without some of the brash chrome trim. Will it be a success? Only time will tell. Hopefully, they don't run out of money before they get people to notice them.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
