SsangYong Shows Off e-XIV Concept Ahead of Paris Debut

SsangYong is preparing to show off its great-looking e-XIV concept, at the Paris Motor Show. It is a Nissan Juke-sized crossover, with some great styling touches which make it look especially good from some angles. As you may have understood while reading its name, the ‘e’ means it’s an all-electric vehicle which possibly previews a production version - this is, however, pure speculation.

It features just two doors, and while the very small rear windows may give a feeling of claustrophobia, the concept comes with a panoramic glass roof to positively offset the lack of light inside the cabin. We currently have no details about the powertrain, aside from the fact that it’s electric and range-extended, and we must admit we were curious to learn its maximum range capabilities on electricity alone.

We really like the look of this concept, and we say it will look even better in the metal.

autoevolution will be attending the Paris Motor Show 2012, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
