South Korean automaker has announced UK pricing information for its Rexton W large SUV. Powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine rated at 153 bhp and 266 lb-ft of torque, the new vehicle will start from £21,995 when it goes on sale this winter.
Available with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a five-speed automatic transmission, the Rexton W can transport up to seven people and comes with cruise control, air conditioning, leather steering wheel and stereo with iPod and Bluetooth connectivity as standard.
Extra features, such as an electric driver’s seat, leather upholstery and rear parking sensors, can be had on the higher-spec EX model, which costs at least £25,320.
Described as “a serious off-roader, yet with all the equipment and creature comforts expected of an urban cruiser”, the Rexton W will take on Hyundai’s Santa Fe and Toyota’s Land Cruiser in the United Kingdom.
