The Gran Turismo prototypes craze still has a powerful flame and truth be told, we're not at all complaining, not when Gran Turismo 6 will receive another alien prototype ready to burn pixel-made rubber.
This time, it's Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) making our senses tingle with a Gran Turismo 6 prototype baptized the SRT Tomahawk Vision GT Concept.

Well, we should at least be grateful that FCA are doing something big in virtual reality since in real life scenarios they're just focused on announcing ambitious plans that take too long to materialize. But we'll rather focus on the Tomahawk Vision GT rather than discuss strategies and expectations.

Bearing the same name as the famous Native American throwing axe and the long-range, subsonic cruise missile used by the US Navy, the asphalt punisher recommends itself as a "single-seat hybrid powertrain concept vehicle, to be released exclusively in Gran Turismo 6."

Sadly, we don't get any intel on the race car's performances, but those shouldn't be to hard to anticipate. The name of the prototype says half of the story, and if we look at other Gran Turismo 6 concepts, we should expect an arsenal of power anywhere between 700 and 1,000 HP.

Judging by what the pictures are showing, there's an LED treatment included for the headlights a hood scoop looking like Dante's Inferno and an exhaust system boasting a five-pipe setup. Air vents and sharp edges are spread everywhere on the prototype's outer shell, and we're happy the Tomahawk Vision GT is a digital creation. Otherwise someone would get cut in those fins.

FCA advises us to stay tuned for more updates as a full reveal is coming soon.
