It's more than official: the BMW-Brilliance joint-venture already has an offspring. We already told you about it, the first time it was caught on public roads in China but this time, it was spotted in Germany.
That's big news. It means that German engineers are carefully working on it, at their home base, in Munich. It's pretty obvious that the new car is based on the X1 and only slight changes will be done to it esthetically, the main question is: will it be sold outside China?

The first reports said that Zinoro cars will be sold exclusively on Chinese soil, but since the car was spotted in Europe, we can't be sure of that yet. Of course, the car could be in Germany just for testing purposes, but there might also be a chance that we'll be seeing it on non-Chinese roads later on.

According to our spy photographers, it was definitely an Electric Vehicle and the front kidney grille was gone, as expected, since that is a trademark feature of BMW too important to be left on the Zinoro model.

Other than that, not too many changes are expected. Of course, we'll have to wait for the official specs and price tags, but we're optimistic and hopefully, we'll get our hands on one of those, as soon as it's released.

The Zinoro X1 EV will be built at the Tiexi, Shenyang plant, alongside all the other BMW and Brilliance models that are manufactured in China and should be launched at the Auto Guangzhou show, this November.
