Ford has already launched the new Fiesta Sedan in China but car enthusiasts around the world are still curious to find out which are the changes to appear on the upcoming US spec version. Well, here are some new spyshots with the American flavor of the Fiesta Sedan which perfectly reveal the main modifications that will make it on the production version.
As you can see for yourselves, the front fascia brings the most important upgrades, with the front bumper - which is painted in a different color than the rest of the body - likely to be slightly different compared to the other versions, mostly to comply with US regulations. The grille and the rear bumper might bring a number of slight changes as well.
Still, there's no word on the engines to be featured on the US-spec Fiesta Sedan but it appears that 1.6-liter engine is currently on the table, together with a couple of other powerplants, specifically optimized for improved fuel efficiency and reduced CO2 emissions.
Inside, the American version of the car will come with several enhancements, including Ford's SYNC system, leather upholstery and three different cloth versions. As for safety, the car will be offered with a total of seven airbags and stability control as standard.
The Sedan will be the second version of the Fiesta in the United States, as Ford also plans to debut the hatchback version, currently on sale across European markets, in the country. However, specific details and release dates are yet to be unveiled, so more information is expected to be revealed in the next few weeks.
