Spyshots: Toyota GT 86 with Aero Kit at Nurburgring

Despite the critics, the Toyota GT 86 is finding fans all over the world, as people are starting to remember what they’ve been missing. About a week ago, we got the first glimpse of the GT 86 aero kit, which was being offered in Australia for about $3,000.

Now though, the GT 86 with a big factory wing has cropped up all the way in Europe, at the famous Nurburgring test track in Germany. Besides the huge wing, it features new front bumper, side sill, rear bumper and a small diffuser.

The kit is mean to improve the aerodynamics of the car, while at the same time maintaining the 0.27 drag coefficient that is essential for keeping up in terms of speed. The car now has more downforce, which in turn translates into better cornering.

If it only costs only €2,400 in Europe, we’d buy it just because it makes the car look like the Supra. Well done Toyota!
