About a month ago, we got the first hint of this car, the new Skoda Rapid Spaceback. It's a hatchback version of the car we already know and is difficult to class.
However, the new model does promise a bit more space and the same affordable prices which should tempt plenty of buyers out of the second hand market.
The new Rapid Spaceback will be shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. However, Czech new desks have learned production will start a month before that, so we should see the official press photos in about a month's time.
A SEAT Toledo version of the car will also follow, mirroring the look and equipment on offer. The engine range should carry over unchanged from the sedan and would thus include the following:
• A 1.6-liter TDI with 90 HP (66 kW) and 105 HP (77 kW)
• A 1.2-liter MPI three-cylinder with 75 HP (55 kW)
• A 1.2-liter TSI four-cylinder with 86 HP (63 kW) and 105 HP (77 kW)
• A 1.4-liter TSI with 122 HP (90 kW)
