Porsche has big plans for the future, hoping to sell a staggering amount of cars. As part of their new offensive, a more compact sedan model is likely to arrive, as well as a new halo supercar and to top it all off, a baby Cayenne SUV, which has been dubbed Cajun for now.
It will borrow a platform from the Audi Q5, which will also be turned into a coupe-like crossover in the future. Our dedicated team of spy photographers have caught this test mule of the new Cajun undergoing testing in Northern Sweden. Unfortunately, it doesn’t give us an impression of how the body will look like, other than the fact that it will be a bit wider.

The powertrains will also be borrowed from Audi, including the gas-electric mix from the Q5 quattro Hybrid, combining a 2.0-liter TFSI with an electric motor.

The Cajun will debut in late 2013 as a 2014 model, first as a four-door SUV, followed by a two-door option with a lower roofline and more sporty characteristics.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
