It’s no secret that Opel is pinning some of its hopes in Europe on this particular car. It’s a citycar that is unashamedly aimed at the people that are currently buying the Fiat 500. The German flash also knows how to make a small car, but they’ve never managed to play the cult car game well enough.
“Junior” is just an unofficial internal designation, as the actual production designation has yet to be revealed. But recent rumors suggest “Adam” is the monicker we’ve been looking for. We’re not so sure so, since it sounds like a body part, and we’re more inclined to believe that Allegra will be chosen.

Whatever the case, the Junior has only been seen testing on normal roads and small, enclosed courses. But now, the German engineers have begun honing it on the Nurburgring, and as a result we have plenty of spy photos to show you.

The new Opel city car will arrive in spring next year and should start under Euro 10,000. But that’s only the base price, as they’ve prepared thousands of color and trim combinations, stickers, pieces of plastic trim and other such nonsense to make you feel special.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
