Opel already had a very, very minor facelift for the Insignia last year, when the car got a new set of wheels and the Luxor exterior color option. This is not the same thing at all, rather a more significant change for the bumpers of the car, which the Germans hope will revitalize sales of the car.
The Insignia was introduced way back in 2008 as a replacement for the Vecta and was largely well received. But for 2012 the car will get a facelift that is hoped will make it a bit more interesting and a more modern rival for the VW Passat.

The “new” Insignia will have a redesigned front fascia, as you can see in the pictures. The changes to the bumpers aren’t as severe as the ones made to lights which have been reshaped. The grille and foglight surrounds are all new, while at the back we get treated to some sporty attitude.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
