Spyshots: Opel Astra Facelift

Our team of spy photographers captured one very interesting car as it was being delivered for winter testing on a car transporter. The station wagon you see here is an Opel Astra, but the camouflage at the front reveals it’s getting a facelift.

The headlights are the same as the current Astra, but the rest of the front bumper has been completely masked off. The lower grille will probably get a black or chrome strip at the top, right under the number plate. The fog light assembly has also been completely reworked.

The car transporter is packed with other Astra models, indicating that they are developing different drivetrains as well.

Right now, there’s not much else we can tell you about the Astra facelift, but perhaps the car will adopt the industry trend for LED lights.
