Our team of spy photographers caught up with the new Clubman in Sweden, where the car is undergoing winter testing. As you can clearly see, there are two doors on each side and two side-hinged doors for the boot. It's a simple and more practical look, similar to a Ford Tourneo, which maximized practicality. This could also be the most practical car MINI has ever built, bigger than the current generation Clubman and about the size of the Countryman at 4.1 meters.
Engines and transmissions will be shared with the new MINI hatch and will include 1.5 and 2.0-liter turbos, both petrol and diesel. At start, only the Cooper, Cooper D and Cooper S will be available, the car in our spy photos being the Cooper S.
