Yes, it's that again, the mystery Ford, which some are speculating is the new Ka. Our spy photographers have once again caught the 5-door car, and this time you can really make out the grille to be that of a Ford, not that there was any doubt, since those license plates are from Cologne, where the blue oval has its European test center.
Currently, Ford gets its A-segment cars from Fiat by rebranding their 500 into the Ka with very minor changes. But this car is losing them money and will be discontinued soon.

While they are struggling to sell A cars, the Fiesta is a huge success story, and Ford CEO Alan Mulally has said the B segment is crucial for the company's global success. This could mean this is a new global car designed to be affordable, like the Dacia brand, like Nissan's revived Datsun Go.

While the company it pushing for more premium vehicles in the US, it still sells the old Ford Ka with a facelift in South America and a similarly ancient car called the Figo in India. These models could be replaced by this Cologne-developed machine.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
