The highly-anticipated 63 AMG version of the brand new Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe, which is likely to be revealed at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January, was caught testing in Germany, one week after being spotted doing the same thing in Spain.
Unlike the previous vehicle, the new prototype sports the full AMG body kit underneath its heavy camouflage, while the wheels, exhaust and the front grille also giveaway that the Germans are indeed testing the beefed-up version of their upcoming flagship coupe.
As a reminder, the S63 AMG Coupe will share the twin-turbocharger V8 engine with the four-door sedan version, which translated into 585 HP and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque sent to the wheels. The Coupe should be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.3 seconds with RWD, while the 4Matic is expected to complete the sprint in 3.9 seconds.
