Mercedes fans have been split over the looks of the current generation E-Class. Some say that the quad headlight arrangement is a modern interpretation of an older design, while others (like us) say this doesn’t blend with angular design. Finally, Daimler has conceded defeat and giving all the cars in the E-Class range a makeover.
This time, it’s the turn of the regular sedan to be captured in motion by our spy photographers. Also new are the bumpers, the grille and most likely the interior as well. All the changes are expected to be inspired by the latest A-Class.
Rumor has it, the E-Class facelift will debut with a camera-based system that monitors the road ahead and adjust the suspension for upcoming bumps. This system will be first shown on the new S-Class that should arrive a couple of months before it.
