This year’s Frankfurt Auto Show brought us the Black Series hell-breed version of the Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe. However, the carmaker is also working on a a sedan incarnation, with our spy shooters encountering the vehicle during high speed tests on the Nurburging.
Expected to be the last vehicle that will use the naturally-aspirated 6.2-liter V8 (this is being replaced by the twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8), the sedan will probably follow the tech pathway of the aforementioned coupe, which means that we’ll get 517 hp and a peak torque of 457 lb-ft.
As you can see in the spy photos, we’ll get wider front and rear tracks, as well as new aerodynamic elements that also have a visual role, bringing a menacing image. The Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series sedan is expected to come to the market next year.
