While the CLA, with its bold styling and rocketing sales, is grabbing all the headlines right now. But the B-Class can be credited with a lot more things than its four-door coupe cousin.
For example, it was the first new compact car Mercedes developed from the MFA platform and that means all off its brothers owe it favors. But it also means that it's getting on in the years and is due for a replacement.

Out in 2011, the B-Class is due for a replacement, which could come as early as next year. We've seen prototypes before, but this one was capture from up close, which means no details were allowed to hide.

The changes appear to the headlights, taillights and front bumper of the B-Class. The headlights appear to be slimming down a bit and no longer taper towards the pillars. Mercedes is also working on the Sport by AMG body kit with protruding intakes. We think changes are being made to the grille as well, which is being pulled out a little bit. This not only makes the B-Class look more aggressive, but also increases pedestrian protection because that bit is made of plastic.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
