Believed to be an AMG-enhanced version of the B-Class, the prototype you’re about to see below is actually the facelifted model of the second generation car. According to our Mercedes-Benz expert, this means that the Stuttgart-based automaker shortens production of their models to just a bit over six years instead of the regular minimum seven.

Little is known about the new B-Class, but expect the compact MPV to sport the company’s updated styling cues, especially in the front end area, while powertrains will most likely be carried over from the current models. The new vehicle is expected to be publicly unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
