Ferrari is working on the 599 replacement, with the project now being in the advanced development stages, so we just couldn’t sit here in our office and think about the V12 creation - we had to send our spy shooters to hunt down the car.
The result can be seen in the adjacent images, which a prototype wearing something for which the notion of “camouflage” is an understatement.

We are talking about a Grand Tourer, so the engine will stay at the front. The car will be powered by a modified version of Ferrari’s 6.3-liter V12, which will deliver over 700 hp (the most powerful 599, the GTO, produces 661 hp), which will place it above the Lamborghini Aventador.

Further down the power chain, we find a dual-clutch transmission, as well as an F1-inspired electronic differential. There is no official info on this,. but we could see the vehicle introducing hybrid technology later in its life cycle.

As for the styling, we are talking about an evolution, with the vehicle set to borrow a few lines from the FF and 458 Italia. Ferrari will use aluminum to give shape to the car, in order to keep it light - it will be lighter than the 599.

The vehicle, which uses the internal name F152 and could come to the market with the F620 designation should make its debut in March next year, at the Geneva Auto Show and hit the market later in the year.
