The current generation Opel Meriva, the second generation of the car, was launched more than two years ago, and, as we’ve come to know, it is after around the two-year mark that manufacturers start refreshing their models, without any really major changes.
The Meriva is no exception, as it has been spotted with its front fascia blacked out, despite the fact that all the details are perfectly visible. The MPV gets new headlights and front bumper, and, while the back has no camouflage, we expect the rear lights to be changed too, while keeping the same outline, so as to fit on the car without any modifications to the body. We also expect the interior to get a minor refresh, as well.
No new engine options have been announced, so it looks like it’s going to be a purely cosmetic change. Expect the updated car to go on sale in early 2013.
