The F30 platform used by the new 3 Series has already spawned a car that we've never seen before in the form of the recently revealed Gran Turimo model. Now, they're getting ready for another car in the form of the 4 Series Gran Coupe.
The 4 Series range will debut later this year with the new F32 Coupe and F33 Convertible, both replacements for existing models, namely the E92 Coupe and E93 Convertible. However for something truly unique, we'll have to wait until this four-door coupe arrives.
At first glance, this car overlaps with the regular 3 Series sedan, already the best car in its class. But BMW deemed it necessary to diversify and launch other models. Think of the 4 GC as a 3 Series that went to beauty school and ballet classes.
The new Bimmer will combine the engine range from the upcoming 3 Series with the looks of a coupe and the legroom of a limo. Extensive customization options will be available, from BMW's own frozen paint to M Sport bumpers and interior trim.
Given the early stage of this prototype's development, the likely debut date is coming very early next year.
