"BMW M4 Arrives at the Nurburgring," those few words are enough to send shivers down our collective journalistic spine, spreading out towards our finger. We've been waiting patiently since spring last year, when we tested the F30 3 Series, for the M version to come out.
This is even better than an M3, it's an M4! The wait will have to continue a while longer, but alt least it's a little more bearable, thanks to these latest spyshots from the grand automotive circuit, the mecca of speed.
The M4 is still heavily camouflaged, but even though we don't like that, there's a little piece of came we do like. One black smudge of duct tape is covering what is without a doubt an "M///" badge on the left kidney grille
Looking beyond that, we found the S55 engine, a multi-turbo adaptation of the N55 3-liter found in the 335i. This smaller engine will help the M4 shed significant weight over the muscle car that is the F9x generation car.
BMW has made it its goal to make this car lighter, faster, more agile, better looking and even more economical. We can only rejoice and patiently wait for 2014 to arrive. Until then, the F32 BMW M4 Coupe will continue its Nurburgring testing.
