As we're getting closer and closer to the official unveiling of BMW's first hybrid plug-in sports car (and we'll finally see exactly how it looks like), the German company is getting closer to the end product too.
To be sure the Chinese people will get the most out of the i8, the Bavarian engineers decided to test the new car on the communist country's tarmac. As this car is not something you see everyday on the road, it was bound to see some spyshots of it being driven on the road.
Said and done! We just got some new spyshots of the car. Unfortunately, they don't show any new sides of the car without camouflage, but we're still excited to see it every change we get.
The Chinese market will be receiving both i models (i8 and i3) next year and BMW hopes to sell this car big, especially in cities that experience smog problems like Beijing and Shanghai.
