We saw the convertible BMW M4 testing around before but not at in harsh, Scandinavian conditions until now. The upcoming model is currently being tested in some of the coldest areas in the world, to make sure the hardtop will face even the most extreme weather.
Stylistically we expect no major surprises. The front end will surely look the same, most differences being expected round the back. The hardtop will, most likely, have the same mechanism as on the regular 4 Series Convertible thus adding a bit of extra weight to the overall DIN of the M4.

I, for one, would’ve liked to see the hardtop made of CFRP, to help reduce some of the weight brought on by the open/close mechanism used on convertibles. The car in these spyshots doesn’t seem to have it but that doesn’t mean it won’t be a possibility.
