After learning yesterday what specs the new models in the 2 Series line-up will have, today our spy photographers managed to get really close to an almost camo-free 2er and get some good shots.
Even though we already know how the next Coupe from BMW will look like (thanks to some previous spyshots) it's still exciting to take a look at the car being tested on the road, hoping to catch a glimpse of some new detail we missed before.
By the looks of things, the car in the gallery below is a base model, most likely a 220i (based on the only tailpipe at the back). Furthermore, we can also spot the Hofmeister kink on the C-Pillar, a feature that was left out on some recent cars, like the i3.
The new model might make its official debut towards the end of this year or at the beginning of 2014 and will be available in 3 model variants at first: the M235i, 220i and 220d, using the same powertrains as on its hatch brother, the F20 1 Series.
