We still have no idea what to call it and where it actually fits in the range, but Aston Martin has one of the sexiest two-door cars that ever existed in the new Vanquish. Dubbed the AM310, this V12 wonder is a natural evolution in terms of design and performance.
Like all good Aston Martins, there comes a time when it must shed its fixed metal roof in favor of some big-time headroom.
Our spy photographers have captured these photos from very far away, but there’s no denying it’s the Vanquish Roadster. The car will be unveiled at Aston Martin’s 100-year celebration party in 2013.
Mechanically, it will be virtually identical to the GT coupe, meaning a 6-litre V12 engine with 573 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque. Expect straight-line performance to be slightly compromised compared to the coupe, something which you’ll actually have to pay a lot more to experience.
