Aston Martin has teased the AM310 concept just last week. However, unfortunately for them we already know how the car will look when it enters production, since it was spotted completely undisguised on the streets of an Italian town.
We also know that the new coupe is going to be called the Vanquish and is likely to be available next year. But until that can happen, the final touches on its sports suspension setup, its powerful engine or its advanced new 8-speed gearbox have to be put in place. Thus the car is undergoing high speed track testing on the Nurburgring Nordschleife.
Despite the fact that they’ve camouflaged parts of the car - the tops of the headlights, the taillights and the rear quarter window - we can still see it’s a beautiful car. In fact, we’re quite taken by this new champagne color.
Powering the new Vanquish is believed to be a 6.0-liter V12 that has had its power increased to 550 horsepower. That might not sound like much, but Aston have likely also decreased the weight over the DBS by using carbon fiber and aluminum.
