With most of the work on the AM310 Vanquish already finished, British automaker Aston Martin is turning its attention to the Rapide four-door coupe or sedan... whatever you want to call it. This prototype, believe to the the Rapide S, has been spotted testing around the area of the Nurburgring.
A few cosmetic tweaks have been made, stating with a bigger grille to let more air in, larger spoiler and a bigger diffuser. The engine displacement can’t change from the usual 6.0-liter V12 but power is expected to be bumped from the current 470 hp to about 510 horsepower for this DB9-based four-door model.
These changes will ensure the Rapide S will be able to sprint from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5 seconds flat and achieve a new top speed of around 190 mph (306 km/h).
