We actually hate it when we have to use a question mark in the title of a story (that's not true), but there just isn't a single tasty AMG morsel on the whole of the Internet about this car.
It appears that Mercedes is at it again, testing the A45 AMG once again, even though it's on sale. But this 45er is a little different to the ones we know. It's got even more flaring on its arches, slightly wider wheels and slightly lower suspension. That, to us, sounds like the formula for the next A45 Black Series.
We yet don't know how much more Mercedes can push the most powerful 2-liter turbo currently on the market, but Mitsubishi Evo engineers will probably be impressed.
This might explain why Mercedes' CLA prototype was whistling in a recent video shot on the Nurburgring. The red line was moved higher up to get more power out of the engine.
Editor's note: Why would you make a more powerful version of the most powerful hot hatch? That's like distilling 100% deadly poison to make it even more poisonous. Perhaps they'd have been better off making a performance diesel.
