Last week, we brought Porsche fans all the latest cars the automaker is working on, all that is except for one. This time, we have a convoy of Porsche Cayennes, all sporting the changes for the best-selling SUV's mid-life facelift.
Comprehensive changes were made to the Panamera sedan last year and, since the two cars share the same platform, we expect them to trickle down to the Cayenne as well. The new twin-turbo V6 with 420 PS will replace the V8 in the Cayenne S, while the popular diesel model will receive a new 300 PS engine.

In one of the photos below, you will see Porsche is also developing a facelift for the Cayenne GTS. If the Panamera GTS is anything to go by, then we're going to see a bump in power from 420 PS to 440 PS. The powerful Turbo and Turbo S models will likely get some extra grunt.

Numbers never tell the whole story with these Porsche facelifts. Improvements in economy, much smoother gearboxes and perceived build quality will make this a night-and-day comparison. Porsche makes these facelifts fully knowing that a lot of current owners will want to trade in.

But these latest spyshots bring us much more than simple rumors and speculation. You can actually see a lot of the details in the taillights and headlights. These will make the 2015 Cayenne instantly recognizable.
