Mercedes-Benz has yet to confirm whether its next-generation large MPV will go on sale wearing a Viano or a V-Class badge, but it’s already obvious that the company’s upcoming people carrier will sport a less boxy design and luxurious interior, as a leaked photo revealed back in October.
Today, a pack of V-Class vans were spotted while testing in warm Spain, our sneaky photographers providing us with a batch of pictures that confirm the new van will be even more attractive as far as its exterior styling goes. The vehicles are still camouflaged, which means we don’t have access to all the interesting details, but Mercedes should start undressing them pretty soon.
Little is known about the new V-Class/Viano, but our Mercedes-Benz expert says it will be powered by a range of new direct-injection turbocharged engines connected to either a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed G-Tronic.
