The Mercedes Benz CLS Shooting Brake is only a year old, but its design is based on the 3-year-old design of the CLS four-door coupe.
Both cars are now getting a makeover, a facelift which will give them new features in line with the S-Class flagship's more subtle curves. Just like the E-Class facelift, the CLS tries to be a bit more curvaceous, mainly at the front.
There, we immediately spot a new grille design. Just like on the E-Class, it's more curved and pops out a bit for a 3D effect. The mesh is their star sky design, which has never been available on the CLS, while there's only one bar holding the emblem instead of the old two.
Similarly S-Class inspired changes have been made to the lower grille and the graphics inside the headlights will be more elegant as well.
