For a while now, all the prototypes for the Chrysler 200 were test mules with body bits from the Alfa Giulietta, just like the Jeep Cherokee last year. However, spy photographers have finally managed to take the first photos of a 2014 Chrysler 200 wearing its real sheetmetal, the final one it will use for production.
Even though the car is still heavily camouflaged, we can make out that the 200 will be a lot sexier than the current Sebring-based car. The curvature of the roof is really long, following the trend recent trend for four-door coupe bodies.

Chrysler has let slip that the 200 will point the way to a new design language for the American brand. We can make out the new sedan will be less of an old man's car, with a much smaller upper grille and larger lower one to create a sport look.

From what we can see peaking from under the camo, we'd say the design is similar to Joe Dehner's 2013 Dodge Dart, but with more style.

Speaking of sharing within the Chrysler group, the engines for the 200 should come from the Dart and Jeep Cherokee – a 2.4-liter Tigershark and maybe the new 3.2-liter Pentastar. In Europe, the 200 will be sold by Lancia as the Flavia sedan. There, the V6 model will likely not be offered and maybe a diesel will take its place.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
