Spyshots: 2015 BMW F16 X6 at Nurburgring

Guess who's back, back again? No, we're not bringing Eminem's old songs back in your lives, we're talking about a highly anticipated model from BMW's SUV-like range, the X6.

Up until now, the already aging E71 model received a slight facelift and some new tech add-ons but no major makeover. Since the current version is the first one in what BMW likes to call Sport Activity Coupe segment, the second iteration should be quite good.

The Bavarians must've learned from their mistakes in the past and the F16 model seems to have a different shape. The rear end, with its sloping roofline, looks a bit different, probably to give its passengers more head room.

Furthermore, at the front, the headlights seem connected to the front grille, in what is already becoming a traditional BMW feature. All in all, the new X6 won't be too different from its predecessor but it will have essential improvements, kind-of similar to the transition from the E70 X5 to the F15 model.

As for the powertrains expect the same engine range as on the F15 with a possible hybrid model in the works, similar to the Concept5 eDrive model.
