It seems that Volvo is working on a new generation of XC90 that looks a bit like the Range Rover Sport, has Land Rover Wheels and a Land Rover interior.
We’re only kidding, but Land Rover tried to fool us into thinking this vehicle is something it’s not by adding a cutout of a Volvo grille. The engineers probably had a really hard laugh when they were doing this. Very funny!
The new Range Rover Sport will have an aluminum chassis to save weight and should be powered by both familiar and new engines.
Jaguar has announced a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 petrol, which should go into the small RR producing 340 horsepower. Also available will be a diesel V6 and the range-topping supercharged V8.
Expect the new Sport to arrive on the market in late 2013.
