Our spy photographers aren’t afraid of anything, therefore, when they spotted the upcoming MINI Clubman on the back of a flatbed trailer they immediately got closer to get the best possible shots of the new MPV.
Yes, we called it MPV because it’s plain and clear to see that the future model will be quite bigger than its predecessor, gaining two full doors and a lot of space.
The close-up shots confirm what we already guessed: the new model will be similar in design with the Cooper models, will have two doors at the back and proper ones on the sides, dropping the non-conventional one used right now, only on the right side.
The model in the shots below seems to be an entry-level one, judging by the exhaust and body kit. That means it’s, most likely, using a 1.5-liter petrol or diesel engine with 136 or 116 horsepower. Even so, we expect the new model to have a decent fuel consumption, despite it’s bigger size.
