As we get closer to the reveal date for the new S-Class, the prototypes are showing more and more skin. Our spies have again caught a new model, long and lean, sporting new features.
The air intakes at the front suggest a new styling direction is going to be used, influenced by the Mercedes F700 concept of 2007.

Under the bonnet, the S-Class will use the new MoVe family of modular V6 and V8 engines. There will also be a plug-in hybrid mode, as well as at least one AMG, the S63 using the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8.

We know from a previous sighting what the interior looks like. The middle section of the center console has disappeared, indicating toward the use of a touchscreen.

The new S-Class will also be packed with advanced safety systems and even a scanner that actively adjust the suspension based on the road ahead of the car.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
