We bring you fresh images of the 2014 Mercedes Benz C-Class, a brand new generation of the popular sedan that has been spotted out doing its first winter testing. The prototype is heavily camouflaged, but we can still make out that it’s a bit wider and longer than the current model.
Design wise, we expect the new C-Class will closely follow the F800 concept that was shown at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. But the C is the mainstay of the sales charts, and Mercedes will not risk upsetting anybody with the design. However, you can already see the outline of the new headlights that are somewhat sunk into the body and are very elongated, just like the F800.
The next generation of Mercedes C-Class will likely arrive late next year. It will be lighter and more economical, and should be the first generation to use hybrid engines. Manufacturing of the car known internally as the BR205 will also take place in the United States.
