This is the first time we’ve been able to offer you such a detailed look at the 2014 Maserati Quattroporte sedan, since it’s dropped the black fabric camo in favor of some polka dot wrap.
The new Quattroporte is now entering its final development stages, getting ready to replace the model we’ve grown to love for eight years now. Rumors suggest this new Quattroporte will bow at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show in January, and should be ready for production by next summer.

As you can see, the lines closely resemble the patent drawings we showed you in July. The grille is sporty, and the whole front end is less butch and more elegant.

Rumors suggest the Quattroporte is entering the modern age of automotive engineering, offering an eight-speed automatic and possibly a supercharged or turbocharged V6 engine under the hood, which is rumored to be developed by Ferrari engineers.
