The 2014 Kia Sorento facelift was once again spotted by our spy photographers as it was undergoing both high speed testing on the Nurburgring and regular road trials in Germany. The full-size SUV is hidden under some heavy camouflage, with has begun to peal away, revealing the new accents for the headlights.
The new styling elements for the facelift also include a new grille that now extends laterally, touching the lights, and a fresh front bumper with big foglights. Round the back, we have a set of new taillights and a redesigned bumper.

Obviously, Kia will introduce direct injection engines across the range, and we’ve been hearing talk of a 200+ horsepower four-cylinder diesel engine being offered.

The current generation of the Sorento SUV was first previewed at the New York Auto Show in March 2009. This new generation uses a uni-structure body and is Kia's first model built in the United States. We can expect the facelift to debut at the same venue next year.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
