These are the first spyshots we’re able to show you of the all-new 2014 Cadillac CTS sedan, which GM plans to launch next year. The car was spotted wearing heavy camouflage at and near the Nurburgring, as it was undergoing the same testing as the smaller ATS.
Though still heavily camouflaged, we can still see that the CTS is growing in size from one generation to the next. At the same time, the design is less edgy and more... German in a way. And that’s because, like the ATS which is challenging the 3-Series, the new CTS will be targeting the BMW 5-Series or Mercedes’ E-Class.
But this still has to be an American sedan with American luxury at its core. Also, we can’t expect the engines to very too much. Rumor has it the GM 2.0L straight-four turbo from the CTS will be made available, as will a turbocharged V6.
