The E30 BMW 3-Series is now out, but it’s not the models that will make the bulk of the sales which make us curious (and in fact the whole Internet), but the M3. And what do we do when we’re in this state? We send out our spy photographers.
This time the task was an easy one, as our team just had to keep an eye on the ‘Ring, the place where they usually have coffee. Yes, we know, you wanted to see the coupe but, as you probably know, that is expected to become the M4 and will turn into a different story, so for now will have to make due with the sedan.
The vehicle is still wearing heavy camo, but there’s really no way of hiding the aggressive design of the front fascia’s lower area. As for what’s hiding behind it, we expect a turbocharged six-pot to find its way into the M3, but we don’t know if we’re talking about a bi-turbo or a tri-turbo system. Either way, we should get an all-new powerplant.
