We’ve seen plenty of spy photos of the new generation 911, and last September it was finally revealed at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. We’ve even seen the convertible version of the vehicle, in both Carrera and Carrera S form. But these are the first spy photos of the new 991 generation turbo, which is a handsome looking brute if you as us, undergoing winter testing, a stern test of the AWD system.
As you can see, even though it’s camouflaged, the car features Turbo-specific bumpers and wing. Of relative noteworthiness is the fact that as with the regular 911, the mirrors have moved from next to the A-pillar to the upper door, and that the scoops on the side that feed the engine have moved back and up a bit.

The output of the 3.6-liter flat-six twin-turbo engine remains a mystery. It’s expected to top or maybe equal the 530 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque of the outgoing 911 Turbo S.
