The same car that was spotted testing several months ago during the European winter has once again turned up on our radar. It’s the new Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet out for some fun with the top down and the wind in your gray hair.
The car is of course based on the new architecture for the 991 Porsche generation, meaning it lower, wider and longer than before. The car’s longer wheelbase gives it the potential for more legroom and a more comfortable ride quality. A new steering system will also give it a more relaxed attitude to performance driving.
Rumors indicated that the next 911 Turbo model will come with a tri-turbo engine good for at least 530 horsepower or as much as 550 hp. You can also look forward to improvements in economy and lower-end torque to arrive from the 3.8-liter flat-six we know and love.
