Spyshots: 2013 Opel Astra Sedan

A test version of the car was recently spotted by our spy photographers undergoing testing The front end is virtually the same, with the changes taking place in the hindquarters. The shape of the trunk should be the same as that on the Buick Verano, which is selling well in America and China.

The astra will use the Watts Z-link design, which helps center the rear axle during cornering, while also increasing boot space.

Since the cosmetic changes over the hatch are minimal, we can expect the engine choices to carry over as well.
