The Astra Cabrio will most likely go on sale later his year or in early 2013. It’s architecture is based on the Delta II platform, the same one used by the Buick Verano and Chevy Cruze and Volt.
Just like the Astra GTC, this will use the HiPerStrut suspension at the front and the Watt’s link rear axle. The downside to this technology is it will not be cheap, which is probably why they are using a less costly folding fabric roof.
